Please don't smoke...

Daddy's got this crazy song from his childhood VBS days...

"Please don't smoke, please don't smoke, give your tobacco to a billy goat." (can't imagine who would be thrilled to claim these lyrics as their own creation!)

None of us get it...but he delights in singing it to us, especially when we're surrounded by the clouds of cigarette smoke that proliferate public areas Here.  It's become a big joke.  Now the kids join in...and everyone stares at us.  (Sorry, not intending to imply that people don't stare at us all the time..)

When in the US for the summer, we were so surprised to see the number of women smoking.  While the number of smokers here, per capita, is far greater than in the US (I would guess)...the number of female smokers is so minimal...that when seeing a female smoke in the States, all of us would comment about how unusual it was.

In light of this topic...just had to post this photos of Brownie, doing her impersonation of smoking...

I think she captured it...my lungs are tightening as I write...
