Surgery

This is Magpie posting for my Mom.

Mom called to say the The Charmer came through five hours of surgery. The surgeon said it was a very difficult case. When putting the femur into the hip socket, it kept dislodging. After several attempts and many screws, it was finally able to remain in the socket. However the cast had to be done with his left leg drawn up very high, to the point that his thigh is nearly horizontal.

He had a difficult time in recovery and for several hours upon returning to the room. Finally, a morphine shot overcame the pain, and he is resting deeply now.

Mom has lots of photos from the day,  lots of stories to tell, but that will have to wait until she can get back to the computer.

Thanks for all of your prayers!

Thanking God that the operation was successful and praying that Ezra will make a speedy recovery from this operation and that the next operation will not be so difficult
