Back Online!!!

Well, at long last, we've gained access to our Blog again!

We've been unable to "see" it here since last Spring and we've been unable to post directly to it since then as well. Recently, posting via email with pictures has become so cumbersome that we nearly lost heart!

Life here has been very, very busy. It's been surprising to see how quickly last year's connections have developed into more significant obligations. We had an 8 day holiday at the beginning of October and we welcomed our son "The Rockstar" and his wife "The Princess" for their first visit Here. It was a wonderful time...truly enjoyable to see things through their eyes for the first time. They have said they will return, which of course, delights us and all the Junior H Family members who adore them.
The children were just involved in a huge "60th Anniversary Concert" that rivalled any such event we've attended before...the gala began the burn in our hearts to produce the Christmas program here for the school. The Kindergarten will be portraying the Nativity story and the Elementary school will be singing some of the dear old carols.

There is much to write regarding our situation this year. We came back expecting some things to be "easier"...in fact we found more things to be difficult. We returned with the expectation that our school arrangement would be smooth this year...but in fact the roles for Daddy and I are much, much more complex and demanding. Culture rules are stretches to abide by...and so many, many eyes are watching to see what we will do.

The greatest blessing thus far has been the joy our children have exhibited. Last year was very tough, especially for our 9 year old, Magpie. There were no other children her age in the school and she missed "home" so badly. We prayed and prayed that she would find friends and that she would be able to just "be a kid again." I wish you could see her this year! With the wonderful answer to prayer in the addition of the Wu family to our team here (including their 9 & 10 year old daughters), there has been a new family that has come to the school with a son and daughter in Magpie's age range...and they get on swimmingly well. Magpie has been laughing and smiling in school, really cutting up as her peers hysterically laugh at her antics. This has done her parents' hearts GOOD! These are direct answers to prayer! Praise Him!

We have tons of pictures to upload, and we will start posting them now that we can easily. We can also receive and POST your comments to the Blog...so feel free to communicate with us in that manner again!
Our days are full from 6 am until we go to bed at 8 pm...but we experience His provision daily in health, growth, peace and joy. Praise Him!
