Bulletin Boards and Sweaty Eyeballs...

Once again I have only a couple of minutes at a computer!

We're spending our days working on the new school. Dad and I are currently in a competition for "BEST BULLETIN BOARD" of the new Primary School! It's getting really tense between us...I've never been one for much creativity and my CRAFTING SKILLS are...well lets just say that crafts give me the hives!

Dad on the other hand can free-hand cut out the letters (Big, lovely block-style letters)and all of the other teachers are commenting on his magnificent skill.

I'm bitter.

The other day when the Chancellor was in our classroom...I asked Dad what his classroom theme was going to be...he replied...without missing a beat "Excellence!"

I rolled my eyes. The Chancellor was smitten.

He then retorted to me..."what's YOUR theme going to be?...Ponies?"

I'm still bitter.

It's hotter than ever here now and so we're working with sweat pouring off of us. Yesterday I had stinging eyes repeatedly due to the sweat rolling into them!

They say we'll have electricity at the school tomorrow...and thus AC...but I'm not holding my breath. In fact, I'm panting.

Last night Dad cooked again. He is quite amazing at inventing some local cuisine. Last night however he got a little full of himself (I think it may have been the raves over his Bulletin Board) and put a little...okay, a LOT...of peppers in the chicken. The result...burning lips, watery eyes and a recipie he calls "Gates of Hell."

Today I was listening to my IPOD cleaning my school room...and sweating...when our Principal (who speaks no English) came in and smiled at me giving me a few words that I did not understand.

Later she told the Chancellor that Dad and I were "Really wonderful people." She apparently was impressed that while I was working and sweating I was singing loudly and cheerfully.

...Must have been some light from above as I was deep into enjoying some praise music!

More again soon. Keep lifting up our key relationships here...there's some really interesting things developing.

Now...we hope to start meeting together with some interested folks...soon.

Love to you all.

What a blessing! You live in a sauna! Just think how your pores are getting cleansed along with the calories you must be burning! Some would pay the big bucks to live at a spa like you do.
